What a wonderful year 2018 was! We had our annual TERSSA meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana and we had a great time taking in all the sounds, sights, and cuisine from the French Quarter.

 

This past year brought some changes to TERSSA. The new position of Annalist was added to the Executive Board, the Outreach and Marketing Committee was named a standing committee, the scholarship amount was raised from $250 to $500, and Missouri was officially added to the roster of states with TERSSA members. One of the most exciting changes to come is a new website with features that we will definitely find useful.

 

I would like to emphasize that TERSSA is your organization for professional development. I encourage you to get familiar with the bylaws and standard operating procedures posted to the website. I also want you to take advantage of the opportunities to get involved by volunteering to chair or to serve on a committee, submitting suggestions or changes to the bylaws, and running for an office. As always, if you have ideas, thoughts, concerns, or questions please feel free to share them.
